What is Orangina?

Created in the 1930s and a fixture of French cafés ever since, Orangina blends orange, lemon, mandarin and grapefruit juices — 12% juice in total — with 2% citrus pulp, sugar and gentle carbonation. It tastes like freshly squeezed citrus with a light fizz, not like the syrupy sweetness of a typical orange soda.

The iconic glass bottle

The small, round bottle with its textured, orange-peel surface is as famous as the drink itself. Glass keeps the carbonation crisp and adds no aftertaste. Because Orangina contains real pulp, the pulp settles at the bottom — gently turn the bottle upside down once or twice before opening to mix it back in. Serve well chilled, on its own or over ice.
