In these regions, the coffee plants thrive under optimal conditions and are harvested by hand as soon as they bear deep red, ripe coffee cherries.

Immediately after the harvest, the farmers process the green coffee using the wet method and allow it to dry in the sun before it is shipped to Irschenberg. The DINZLER coffee roastery then refines the still light-green raw beans using a gentle, long-term drum roasting process.
