Our authentic Krainer is a premium, coarse-textured sausage crafted from select cuts of lean pork and marbled beef, seasoned with a robust blend of fresh garlic, black pepper, and whole mustard seeds, encased in snappy natural casings. This hearty sausage is completely free of filler grains, artificial flavorings, or modern chemical preservatives, offering a bold, old-world bite.

To prepare Krainer perfectly, pan-sear or grill the links over medium-low heat for 12 minutes, or gently simmer them in hot water until plumb, taking care not to pierce the skin so the rich garlic juices stay locked inside. Serve them hot alongside rustic sourdough bread, a sharp horseradish spread, or a side of cold, tangy German lentil salad.
Where does it ship from? All fresh sausages and meats ship from our own warehouse in Little Ferry, New Jersey.
How is it packed? Every order goes out in an insulated box with frozen gel packs. Cold packaging is always free – no packaging or handling fee.
How fast is it? 2-day express via UPS or FedEx, depending on your address. Many East Coast addresses receive their order in 1–2 days.
When does it ship? Monday to Wednesday (Thursdays for addresses close to New Jersey), so your package never sits in a depot over the weekend. Orders placed later in the week ship at the start of the next week.
When it arrives: Please bring the package inside promptly and refrigerate or freeze the sausages right away. If it arrives warm or damaged, email a photo to help@onestopgermanshop.com within 24 hours and we'll make it right.
